Airtel has launched the 'Smart Missed Call Alert’ feature for the convenience of its customers. Reliance Jio users are using this feature for a long time. Airtel will not notify the missed call alerts via a text message but will notify through an app. Users will be notified on the Airtel Thanks App and can check their missed calls in the missed calls alert section on the application.
Reliance Jio has already given this feature to its customers. Jio's missed call alert service informs users about the calls received when they are outside the network coverage area, but Jio's implementation is said to be better than Airtel. This feature works even on international or national roaming.
In Jio, if your smartphone is switched off or out of coverage area, and in such a situation someone calls you, you will know about that call when you come back to the network area. This information is received through SMS. Meanwhile, Airtel requires users to go o the app to check for alerts. which is not convenient for users. Considering this, Jio is more convenient and ahead of Airtel.
