After Facebook, Google is Planning To Invest In Meesho

News Synopsis

Meesho has provided 13 million individuals to start their own business with zero investment. The online platform has benefited more than 45 million customers in the country. Google has pledged to invest in Indian startups like Dailyhunt, Glance, and others, and after this, the news has come out that Google will be investing in Meesho as well. 

Meesho has shown a growth in its shares and has gained investments from Facebook, SoftBank, Sequoia Capital India, Y Combinator, and other investors. The founder and CEO of Meesho, Vidit Aatrey has said that they are focusing on expanding their vision. The platform wants to help aspiring women entrepreneurs create a single ecosystem that will enable small businesses in India to succeed online. 

Meesho also talked about having more than 100,000 suppliers and generating more than 500 crores in income for individuals.
