To achieve health to the highest extent possible, it is imperative that the advantages of medical, psychological, and associated information be made available to all individuals. Maintaining one's physical condition and taking precautions to lower the risk of contracting various diseases constitutes being healthy. Health is the body's innate capacity to adjust to the physical and psychological changes to which it is subjected. There are many reasons for being unhealthy, like an unsound diet, excessive weight, and Drug abuse: Amphetamines, cannabis (marijuana), cocaine, and heroin, are just a few of the drugs that can raise your risk of cardiac disease, depression, and stroke, stress, and consumption of Alcohol and Smoking. Poor health has observable signs, like unexpected Weight Gain or Loss, Chest Pain, fatigue, or weakness, Skin discoloration, Changes in Emotions and Behavior, Developing Anxiety and sweating, and effects on hunger. A balanced diet is one that includes a variety of foods in the right amounts and ratios to meet the body's needs for calories, proteins, minerals, vitamins, and other nutrients. Lack of any essential nutrient in the diet can lead to deficiency diseases, like scurvy, goiter, rickets, night- blindness, etc. There are different tips to make a person stay healthy and fit, like keeping a track of your weight, eating a balanced diet, exercising regularly, sleeping well, avoiding drugs, smoking, and alcohol, etc.

Reasons For Weight And Health Issues:

Nowadays, people are very concerned about their health and weight issues but they aren't aware enough of the reasons why is the health, weight, and functioning of the body not at the proper pace. There are many reasons, which could not only lead to improper weight but also diseases due to deficiency of several required nutrients in our body. The following are the reasons for weight and health issues-

1) Unsound diet: Your health is impacted by the things you eat. Your risk of heart disease and stroke can be reduced by making small, healthful adjustments to your everyday activity.

2) Excessive weight: You are not the only one who struggles with your weight. Obesity can cause diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and sleep apnea. Your risk of heart disease can be increased by being obese.

3) Drug abuse: Amphetamines, cannabis (marijuana), cocaine, and heroin, are just a few of the drugs that can raise your risk of cardiac disease, depression, and stroke.

A balanced diet must include- Fruits, Green leafy vegetables, pulses and grains, eggs, butter, oils, milk, fish, chicken, etc. in the right proportions to make a person healthy and fit.

The deficiency of any essential nutrients like protein, vitamins, minerals, carbohydrates, etc. in our body leads to ‘deficiency diseases.’ Following are a few of the deficiency diseases:

  2. Rickets (Bone Disorder)- Caused due to deficiency of Vitamin- D.
