One Crore Kids between 12-14 Age Group administered with Covid-19 vaccine

The Union Health Ministry on Friday announced that more than one crore kids between the age group of 12-14 have been administered the Covid vaccine in the country. Union Health Minister, Mansukh Mandaviya took to micro-blogging platform, Twitter to inform this. He Tweeted: "Over 1 crore children between the age group of 12-14 have received their first dose of #COVID19 vaccine. Congratulations to all my young warriors who got vaccinated. Let's continue this momentum!" The government further informed that more than 2.22 Crore booster doses of the Covid vaccine for the Healthcare Workers, Frontline Workers, and those who are more than 60 years of age have also been administered so far. Additionally,  101.3 crore citizens who are more than 15 years of age have been inoculated with 181.24 crore doses of the COVID-19 vaccine. Mr. Mandaviya further informed that in this age criteria, 96.81 crores (96 per cent) beneficiaries have received at least one dose of a Covid vaccine, 82.09 crores (81 per cent) have been administered both the doses and 2.17 crore have received the precaution dose.
