Lamborghini Temerario Set to Launch in India on April 30

News Synopsis
Lamborghini is all set to launch its new hybrid supercar, the Temerario, in India on April 30. First unveiled at the Monterey Car Week in August last year, the Temerario is the much-anticipated successor to the Huracán and brings with it cutting-edge design, technology, and a powerful hybrid powertrain.
Bold New Design Philosophy
The Lamborghini Temerario sports a brand-new design language that blends aggressive styling with functional aerodynamics. At the front, it features a sharp shark-nose profile, flanked by sleek, swept-back LED headlights. The iconic hexagonal DRLs not only serve as a signature design element but also function as air channels for improved cooling and aero efficiency.
From the side, the car’s bold wheel arches, sculpted surfaces, and dynamic lines give it a muscular and athletic stance. Large air intakes positioned behind the doors aid in channeling airflow to the powertrain. A concave roof helps guide air toward the integrated rear spoiler, which increases downforce and high-speed stability. The rear design is equally aggressive, highlighted by hexagonal exhaust tips and a wide rear diffuser.
Interior Inspired by the Revuelto
Step inside the Temerario, and you’re greeted with a cabin designed around the driver while offering enhanced comfort. Drawing influence from Lamborghini’s Revuelto, the interior is equipped with three digital displays—a 12.3-inch instrument cluster for the driver, an 8.4-inch central infotainment touchscreen, and a 9.1-inch screen for the passenger. The interface mirrors a smartphone-style layout for intuitive user interaction.
The supercar offers more room than its predecessor, with 34mm of extra headroom and 46mm more legroom. Standard comfort features include 18-way electrically adjustable, ventilated, and heated seats. A larger luggage compartment makes the Temerario surprisingly practical for a high-performance machine.
Electrified Powertrain with Stunning Performance
Breaking away from Lamborghini’s long-standing tradition of naturally aspirated V10s, the Temerario introduces a plug-in hybrid powertrain. It pairs a twin-turbocharged 4.0-litre V8 engine with three electric motors, delivering a combined output of 907 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque. The internal combustion engine alone produces 789 hp and can rev up to an astonishing 10,000 rpm.
The hybrid system includes two electric motors on the front axle for AWD capability and a third integrated between the V8 engine and an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. This third motor acts as a torque-filler, ensuring rapid gear changes and smooth power delivery. A 3.8kWh lithium-ion battery powers the electric motors and can be charged fully in 30 minutes via a 7kW charger or through regenerative braking.
The Temerario rockets from 0 to 100 kmph in just 2.7 seconds and has a top speed of over 340 kmph. For driving enthusiasts, the car features multiple driving modes, including a Drift mode for controlled slides and dynamic cornering.
Launch and Market Position
The Lamborghini Temerario will be officially launched in India on April 30, marking the arrival of the brand’s next-generation hybrid supercar. As a successor to the Huracán, it positions itself at the top of the performance and technology spectrum in the supercar segment. Given its hybrid credentials, the Temerario also represents Lamborghini’s transition toward an electrified future.
