  2. Panel Interviews- This is a fast interview process that can be conducted online or offline. Candidate has to build a rapport in front of more than one interviewer. It is less stressful than one-to-one interviews.

  3. Competency Test- This is a part of the interview where a knowledge test to evaluate your Technical, Cognitive, and Behavioural competencies is taken by asking related questions.

  4. Virtual Assessment- This assessment is very common for entry-level roles. This assessment tests multiple skills and includes group activities, presentations, and even psychometric testing.

  1. This a very simple question and you have to answer only as much as you are asked. Don’t give a complete history about everything. Example- “My name is Steve. I have completed B.Tech in Computer Sciences and Applications from IIT, Mumbai. I belong from Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. Previously, I worked at Wipro as a software engineer, IT is my passion that’s what makes me interested in this position at TCS.”

  2. Before giving any interview always be prepared with the details of the company- what it does, its functionality areas, its Aim and Mission, Headquarters and locations where its branches are located, and services they offer. Being aware of these facts by going through the company website will instantly give you an idea to answer this question.

  3.  Don’t give generic answers. Instead, enlist the unique features of that company, career and growth opportunities, and growth of the company since previous years that attract you to this Opportunity.

  4. For questions like this, you have to deliver an answer in such a way that it makes the interviewer interested in you. You have to explain that you are very flexible and unique and can not only work but can also deliver results that could contribute to the company’s growth.

  5. For answering questions like this you get an opportunity to talk about something that makes you unique and a great fit for this role. Answer these questions making quality a priority and not quantity.

  6. In questions related to future plans always mention what you expect from life along with your job. You can mention points like- work-life balance, working and growing daily, a healthy professional and personal relationship, and progressing in your career.

  7. In questions related to stress management, you have to prove that you are the perfect candidate who can handle all situations very efficiently and you always look into the positives in every scenario. This will make you stand out from the crowd. Never dismiss this question. You can enlist ways by which you deal with stress, like- taking a nap, having a dessert, listening to music, etc.

  8. If you are interviewing with a company that has a different background than yours this question is very likely to come up. Explain why you decided to change your career path, how this path seems better to you for your future and how passionate you are about it. All that matters, in the end, is skills.

  9. Questions related to leaving a job are tough but you can’t dismiss them. Never disclose the negatives about your employer enlist the positives and direct them to what this job has taught you and how you are ready to take up new challenges which can boost career growth.

  10. When you get an opportunity to ask questions to the interviewer take it. Ask by when can you expect to hear back from them, what more things this job can offer, and genuine questions. Don’t ask too much.
