Grammy Awards 2023: Bengaluru-Based Ricky Kej Wins His Third Grammy Award

The 2023 Grammy Awards were announced in Los Angeles on Sunday, February 5, This year, Beyoncé has received nine nominations, which is the highest. Adele, Brandi Carlile, and Kendrick Lamar each have seven nominations, while Kendrick Lamar has eight. Each Carter has now got 88 nominations, with Future, Harry Styles, Mary J. Blige, DJ Khaled, Terius "The-Dream" Gesteelde-Diamant, and Randy Merrill receiving six nominations each. Jay-Z received five nominations, tying him with Beyoncé for the most nominations in Grammys history.
Beyoncé already had two Grammys to her name by the time the CBS programme premiered. Beyoncé was the most nominated artist for the year's album, song, and record when the awards show began on Sunday. If she triumphs in one of those important categories, it will be her first victory since she won Song of the Year in 2010 for "Single Ladies."
Ricky Kej, a composer based in Bengaluru, won his third Grammy on Monday for the album "Divine Tides," which he co-wrote with rock veteran Stewart Copeland. The Indian musician took home the Grammy for Best Immersive Audio Album.
The announcement was made at the Crypto.com Arena's 65th Annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, California.
