10 Year Old Aadhar Card Will Be Updated

Director UIDAI RD Singh has given instructions to give publicity to update 10 years old Aadhar cards through video conferencing. He said that various publicity media should be used to give information to maximum people in this regard. Additional District Magistrate Hemant Kumar Verma said that publicity will be spread from various levels to update the information of address, photo, etc. in the old Aadhar card.
In the VC held on Monday, the ADM told that anyone whose address, etc. has not been updated in the Aadhar card for 10 years, can update their Aadhaar online or by visiting the nearest Aadhar service center. Also, for updation, their addresses will be re-verified by conducting special awareness campaigns through meetings, camps, tehsil days, internet media groups, etc. He said that region-wise camps would be organized so that citizens do not face any problem for Aadhaar update.
The ADM said that the percentage would be increased by making better efforts to make Aadhar cards for children up to five years of age. Told that the education, child development, social welfare, and various banks in the district as well as other departments will make the basis of five-year-old children with Aadhaar update by ACESC centers.
The ADM informed the VC about the problems being faced at the departmental level in updating and making Aadhaar on behalf of the district. District Program Officer RP Bisht, LDM PS Gabriel, DEO CS Bisht, Social Welfare Officer RS Samant, Post Master JC Pandey, EDM Tanuj Rawal etc. were present in the VC. Project Manager UIDAI SP Uniyal, Assistant Manager Shubham Tyagi, CS C District Manager Jaswant Singh were virtually connected.
