ShareChat Values at $3.7 Billion with Fresh Funding Round of $226 Million

Mohalla Tech, the parent company of ShareChat and Moj app, has raised $226 million in its Series G round, taking its value to $3.7 billion. This is the third funding round of the company in 2021. The company said that the funding will help to develop its capabilities in its priority areas such as social and live commerce. Over the past year, the company has grown to more than 2,000 employees and has added many new features in its applications to make it the best short video and social media platform in India.

Moj, another short video application under Mohalla Tech has an average user time spent of at least 34 minutes every day. ShareChat on the other hand has an average user spend of 31 minutes daily. The company claims that both platforms have together a user community of 340 million.
