Coupang Will Take Part In An Awareness Campaign On Cybersecurity

On October 5, Coupang declared that it would take part in the 19-year-old U.S. government Cybersecurity Awareness Month campaign. President George W. Bush launched Cybersecurity Awareness Month in 2004. Every year in October, it is organized to raise public awareness of digital security and data protection.
Google, TikTok, Costco, Boeing, Adobe, Lenovo, and Cisco are just a few of the international companies that are taking part in this effort to educate employees about how to safeguard personal information against phishing. "See Yourself in Cyber" is the campaign's slogan for this year.
Every week in the month of October, Coupang will show an animation to all of its staff members about best practices in data security. The employees will be educated on how to effectively deal with cyberattacks, including how to identify and report phishing emails, set up multifactor authentication (MFA) to increase security, and maintain regular software updates. MFA stops users from accessing an account with just a password and a code issued to their email or smartphone.
